The OBC is joining in with Barcelona's Festa Major with an open-air concert in which it will be playing the most popular repertoire of classical music. Just for one day, the orchestra will be abandoning the Pau Casals Hall at L'Auditori to visit one of the most beautiful corners in Barcelona – the Avinguda de la Catedral – and share the La Mercè festivities with everyone from Barcelona to the tune of great music. This is a first-class chance to discover the musicians of the OBC up-close and personal while they perform pieces widely known by the general public and to listen to and discover new sounds in a unique setting.
